IFAIMA invites you to the Global AIM Ha Noi 2015 which will take place from the 9th to the 11th June 2015 at the Vietnamese ANSP -VATM premises in Ha Noi, Viet Nam.
The need for a strategic evolution towards AIM in a manner that will ensure the availability of aeronautical information to any ATM user in a globally interoperable and fully digital environment is well recognized. As part of System-Wide Information Management (SWIM), AIM is required to support evolving requirements for, inter alia, Collaborative Decision Making (CDM), Performance-Based Navigation (PBN), ATM system interoperability, network-centered information exchange, and to take advantage of improved aircraft capabilities.
The main objectives of the event are as follows:
a) provide States with a better understanding of the planning and implementation issues related to the transition from AIS to AIM;
b) provide briefings related to AIM and SWIM global developments and regional/national AIM-related activities and experiences;
c) address the AIM/SWIM challenges/opportunities and Users’ requirements/views; and
d) address the impact on Human Factors and AIM Staff.
In collaboration with the Civil Aviation Authority of Viet Nam – CAAV, Vietnamese ANSP – VATM, Eurocontrol and ICAO.
It’s important we continue to involve all the stakeholders on the procurement of the AIM/SWIM important objectives.
An exhibition area parallel to the conference will also be available where participants can get acquainted with representatives of the industry and their state of the art AIM/ATM products. They will be there to provide and assist the participants with their expertise, demonstrating how their products work, first hand.
